PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES

Designed by Rolf Ekroth, the RAKAS jewelry can be worn as an earring, a scarf ring or a multi-purpose accessory, the styling of which is limited only by your imagination. The jewelry is handmade of recycled silver at the Kalevala jewelry factory in Helsinki.

The hollow silver ball swinging in a hinged ring is decorated with the nostalgic rose pattern characteristic of Rolf Ekroth. You can thread the ball out of the ring and wear it as a pendant on a chain. Ball diameter 13 mm, diameter of the round holes 3.5 mm. Ring thickness 3 mm, diameter (inner dimension) 20 mm.

Please note that RAKAS jewelry is sold individually. So if you want a pair of earrings, order two pieces. RAKAS jewelry is only available in our online store and in our own stores in Helsinki.

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
