Made from gleaming silver, the Unikko ring brings joy to its wearer and emanates joy and beauty to everyone around them. The ring is available in three sizes (S, M, L). The plain shank has been left open, allowing you to adjust the size to fit your finger perfectly. The width of the shank is 4 mm, thickness 1,5 mm.

Two iconic Finnish design houses, Kalevala Jewelry and Marimekko, have come together to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Maija Isola’s Unikko design, first introduced in 1964. A symbol of joy and creativity, Unikko now blossoms in a magnificent jewelry collection, combining timeless design and the finest traditions of Finnish craftsmanship. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from fully recycled silver at Kalevala Jewelry’s factory in Helsinki. The exclusive Unikko series is available for a limited time only.

Marimekko’s Unikko is a strong symbol of joy and creativity
and an important part of Marimekko’s design identity.
Designer Maija Isola showed that there is always room
for creativity, which spreads joy around. Now, Unikko
blossoms as a silver Kalevala jewelry.
Kalevala Koru and Marimekko are releasing a joint Unikko
jewelry collection to celebrate the 60th anniversary of
Maija Isola’s iconic Unikko design from 1964. The Unikko
jewelry is crafted with Finnish craftsmanship at Kalevala
Koru’s factory from 100% recycled silver. The jewelry is
available for a limited time.

Care instructions

Care instructions for silver jewelry

Kalevala silver jewelry is handcrafted in Finland from sterling silver. More than 99% of the silver we use is recycled.

Over time, all silver jewelry darkens. Darkening can be prevented by regular cleaning and proper storage of the jewelry. Dark spots can be removed with a Kalevala cleaning cloth. After cleaning, it is a good idea to wash the jewelry in mild soapy water so that the cleaning agent does not stain the clothes. The cleaning cloth is not suitable for cleaning stones set in silver jewelry.

It is good to keep the jewelry in its original packaging. Additional protection for jewelry without
against the darkening effect of impurities is provided by a tight plastic bag.
